Filter adhesives are used by leading manufacturers for manufacturing filters. There are various types of filters that are manufactured for filtering liquids, Air, and gas.

The filter is used for removing suspended particles from fluid, liquid, or gas, by passing the liquid through a porous or semi permeable medium. There are different types of filters that are manufactured like Cartridge filter, Filter bags, Hydraulic & lube oil filter, Compressed air filter, Gas filter and many more.

The Filter adhesives feature handling properties which include good gap filling and minimal shrinkage. Many of the Filter adhesives are formulated to withstand exposure to high temperature, aggressive chemicals, and temperature or humidity fluctuation in the operating environment.

The different types of Filter adhesives that are made are as follows, Epoxy Adhesive, End Cap Adhesive, Urethane Adhesive, Filter Media Adhesive, Seam Sealing Adhesive, and End Cap Molding Material.

For bonding hollow tube filters and medical device assembly Urethane Resins is used. Urethane resins has a low viscosity and achieves very good bonds to materials like polycarbonate; PVC; polysulfone; styrene butadiene rubber blended with natural rubber; acrylics; many metals; woods; and most painted surfaces. It is also used in medical devices as it has low viscosity and clear polyurethane system which is UV stable. It is useful for hollow fiber potting and sealing applications in biochemical devices, label doming and bonding hollow fiber separation process membranes.

The self adhesive fibrous air filters are universally compatible with devices that provide filtered air. The Filter adhesives applied to the fibrous which make them self-adhesive air filters for which the process involves where Filter adhesives are applied to flexible fibrous air filter blank composed of polyester batting which is coated with an air permeable non dying adhesive which is vacuumed into the interstices of the fibers. A template serves as a protective cover for the non drying Filter adhesives and it enables the user to shape and/or size it to the configurations that are compatible to the air region intake of the devices on which these self adhesive filters are installed.
